We all have our days where we’re killing it- big wins, bank accounts in the black, validation and accolades for days.
And we have our days where nothing seems to go right, and we contemplate quitting everything while we slurp down a bowl of off-brand Ramen and question why we even tried.
Success has been long defined in our dictionaries and our culture as the attainment of fame and wealth Success has been viewed like a destination, in the opposite direction of failure. But what happens when we continue to find failure on the road to success? What happens when we reach success, and then wonder ‘now what?’
Success isn’t a destination—it’s an attitude.
Failure is only failure if we stop. As long as we keep going, it’s just one step closer to figuring it out, which is ultimately success. Whether we are pursuing success in a business or job, a relationship, our health, our finances, finding fun… being successful is about choosing our own metrics, and living the absolute best possible life we can live, while enjoying the journey.
